I'm not pissed, I'm mordantly amused. What the heck, given the ugliness of 8 years of Clinton hatred from the bloviating pundits of the righteous right, I shiver to think at what would be in store for us if Gore pulled it out. Them guys is plenty fired up already. There's quite a collection of amusing stories out of Florida already, and I'm sure there will be more to come. The Seminole/Martin patched absentee forms, the "felons" that actually had misdemeanor convictions from some Texas hack republican DB, used to disqualify voters, the "spontaneous" demonstrations from Republican Congressional staffers, plus all the pompous pronouncements of legal infallibility from the Bush campaign co-chair - Carl Hiaasen couldn't have done better. The punch line is W as President. I got nothing personal against him, but the quote file on him already reads remarkably similar to the Dan Quayle file. Who can be against humor of that caliber?
