Which brings us to the real winner of this election, America online (small o). The internet has truly set us free from traditional media bias. Everyone talking, sharing links, facts, opinions, shouting and yelling at each other, this truly couldn't have happened at a better time. Imagine an election this close with only the network "news" to rely on for information. Force fed canned spin with limited alternatives. Yuck!!
This internet is wonderful. It has set us free. And we all, Reps, Dems, and everyone else, need to zealously guard it against any attempts by those in power to control, regulate, tax, or in any other way abuse it. |
