The U.S. Const. guarantees the right to have my vote counted. If I live in Florida and my vote didn't register on a stupid machine, my vote has not been counted. Is there another way to count my vote? Hell yes. Just look at the damned ballot, it's obvious that I cast a vote for President. Wait, Bush says, "put that ballot down", "It's not fair to count that ballot 'cause it might cause me irreparable harm, i.e., I may lose". Now, Bush wants to strip my right to have my vote counted and that pisses me off. So I go to the Florida S.Ct. and they tell me that according to Florida state law that my vote should be counted. The Florida S.Ct. is supposed to be the final word on Florida law. But Bush has a different idea and he runs to the US S.Ct. which ignores a hundred years of precedent to rule down party lines so that my vote, again, isn't counted. The US S.Ct. has just stripped me of my Constitutionally guaranteed right to have my voice heard through my vote. All at the request of GW Bush. Now, can you understand why I’m pissed off?
