I had a Chesepeake Bay Retriever who was a natural goose dog. He retrieved 25 giant geese when he was 8 months old on opening day. Ate breakfast with the Keating 5 Senators at two in Maryland. Let our tame ducks pluck his fur for nests. Helped the wife with her horses every morning. We peed on the same tree every morning for 12 years. Felt like dying when he did. Dogs should either live for 70 years or people for 12.
