I was refering to the targeted tax elmination on cap gains on the sale of a primary residence. I think this is a great example of how legislation can help throw a somewhat steady economy in to an inflationary tailspin.
THIS WAS NOT ALL CLINTON. He did for some reason see fit to sign this tax cut....which was amazing since some thought it to be a tax break for the "rich". I was just using it as an example how a targeted tax cut can possibly throw the economy out of whack. Now to slow it down, AG has to raise rates far in excess of what it would take to slow the economy...all the while trashing the markets in the meantime...and raising the ire of Scumbria.
