Dwight,

I cancelled my Netcom account last night. I am in the middle of a 30 day free trial period with IBM Global Net which has been x2 capable for about a month in my location. I am very pleased with the IBM service(damn those words are hard to say re: IBM). I can't believe an ISP as big as Nectcom has been dragging their feet with respect to x2. I was also informed that when they do finally offer x2 "sometime" this summer, they are going to make it a premium service. My location went from having no x2 providers to 3 (IBM, Mindspring, Iglou) in just one month. It's my guess that ISP's that aren't currently offering x2 are losing people right and left and that they will have a hard time ever getting these customers back. x2 has been a great opportunity, especially for smaller ISP's, to take market share away from those who have dragged their feet.

BTW, I took great pleasure in explaining to Netcom why I was cancelling their service.
