Nemer,

<<<You and Ron voted for Gore ... Cuz Paul and I voted for Bush ... this has been publicly disclosed ...yet we can all be friends and respect each others opposing views ... and do it in a civilized, while joking, manner.>>>

Yeah we can still be friends, but I'm certainly cranking down the valves on the gas wells I own interest in, to freeze those dang yankees that voted for Gore. :o)

Our county uses the punch card ballot like the ones that have been causing all of the problems in Florida. I was an election judge at my precinct for a number of years, and we never had ANY problems with the voting devices at all. As we would gather the ballots we'd check each and every ballot for hanging chads and we'd very rarely find one and if we did we'd remove it. I still can't quite understand why this was a problem in Florida. It doesn't exactly take a brain surgeon to check your punch card ballot to see if the holes were cleanly punched. This should be the VOTERS responsibility.

My prayers are with Ron's dad and his family as well.

Paul

P.S. I'll be wearing my brand new "Sore Loserman" t-shirt to play tennis with some lawyers tomorrow. This should be fun. :o)
