In its ruling, Florida Supreme Ct. allowed additional votes for Gore obtained from the partial recounts. I cannot understand why no one has yet pointed out the unfairness of that decision.

The winner of an election is determined by counting all the votes from the cast ballots. The winner cannot be determined from partial counts for the plain and simple reason that it can lead to potential fraud.

The FSC gave Gore a few hundred votes from that partial count. What if there were more votes for Bush in the uncounted ballots? Accepting the FSC's ruling is the equivalent of basing the State results on the partial count of a highly democrat county while leaving the ballots from the remaining counties uncounted.
