sunshadow--you're wrong. the legislature could easily have changed the rules had it wished to do so, and no court would have over-ruled them IF Bush and Gore had approached the legislature together and asked for the change. Who would have objected? By definition, it wouldn't have been Bush or Gore--they would have already agreed to the change. You forget that courts exist not only to interpret the rule of law, but also to arrive at justice. In this instance, justice dictates that their be a fair and impartial recount of ALL of FL's counties, and let the chips fall where they may. Justice is beind denied here, and it will leave our country bitterly divided for a long, long while, unfortunately....
