Just discovered this thread. A subject near and dear to my heart. :-)) I keep a list of stocks recommended each year by the crooks/idiots and track them for a year until they come out with their new list. It is truly amazing how poor they are as stock pickers or how bloated their inventory they need to unload is. One of my favorites is Smith Blarney. They have to be the worst on the street.

Every year they pick a basket of stocks and create a "fund" for their customers to buy as "one" security so to speak. Anyway they have lost money every year I have traked it!

Now I agree that the retail "investors/suckers" should boycott the ipos but won't happen because they are gonna GET RICH. :-)
