Scumbria, RE:"Yesterday was a dark day in our nation's history. The Supreme Court chose to err on the side of reducing democracy. There were 40,000 uncounted votes in Florida, and Scalia believes it is best to keep it that way (rather than risk having Bush lose the election.)" Why "suddenly" is it a dark day in our history?
