Cobalt, what is "eerie" about that? There is a certain "steriltiy" of thought by many on the right. Do you EVER wonder what the world was like a thousand years ago or what it will be like one hundred or a thousand years from now? Do you wonder what lies beyond the stars or simply stare up at the nightime sky and consider your mortality? The "dittohead" mentality seems focused ONLY on the conventional "black and white, here and now" and if ANY idea is outside that framework it is perceived as troubling or dangerous.

The problem with the unabomber was not that he held some complicated and unconventional beliefs but that he placed bombs in the mail.
