Bush lacks moral authority to lead the country. The perception amongst many millions of voters that he lost both the popular vote (by over 300,000 votes) and the electoral college because all the votes were not counted has deprived him of the moral authority to lead. The US Supreme Court has inflicted great damage to its credability by creating the perception it has injected itself into a contest for purpose of helping Bush.
