Morning Paul,

Had Secretary of State Harris gone ahead and certified the election results on the night of the election or the next day as might be normally done, you might have a leg to stand on. But she did not certify the election until after the illegal extension that the FLSC allowed the Democrats to count the extra ballots and they still couldn't come up with enough to win. I say illegal in that the individual supreme courts as well as the federal one are suppose to "interpret" the law, not change it to fit their particular needs. She waited until after the "new" deadline to certify the results, so I think you are way off base here.

If you want to talk corrupt, there has been many reports about Fl Democrats who could not stand Gore. They did not vote for Bush being loyal Democrats and decided to not vote for president at all, just the other races. These votes constitute a huge percentage of the undervote and Gore's team wants to have "ANY" ballots that can be somehow ascertained that there is the slightest impression made on the Gore chad to be counted, as that was the "intent" of the voter to vote for Gore. When you talk about corrupt, you know damn well there is NO ONE who can hold a candle to Daley.

JMHO,
Joel
