What do you think?

I think that with the US Supreme Court's order of a stay of the Florida recount, there is a very good chance that Bush will win the election (Scalia stated in his opinion that the petitioner [Bush] had a substantial chance of prevailing). I believe that in post-market trading on Friday that a lot traders either sold or went short based on the Florida Supreme Court's ruling - with the tables now turned, there will be scrambling to cover those shorts or buy back positions that were sold. How much of an impact this will have on the Monday open is unknown.

I think we have a chance of a rally, perhaps only a slight rally, on Monday. Of course the market of late, when it gives gains through a rally tends to take back such gains the following trading day. I do, however, believe that if the election is resolved (which I believe there is a high likelihood that it is), we may have hit a temporary bottom. And as such, the market may go up from here. For how long, I have no idea (hope it's more than a week).
