As far as "concilatory" goes, where did you pull that one out of? Aside from W's transparent "uniter" line, presumably from the same slogan factory as "compassionate conservative" and "reformer with results", where, exactly, has there been any hint of conciliatory rhetoric from the party of the rich and powerful? I haven't followed the bloviating pundits closely, but the tone seems to be mostly Gore is a traitor. How dare Gore do what every Republican loser in a close election has done for the past 10 years?
