Very good points ChrisJP... It is hard to tell though where shorts will cover if at all...

I know of stocks that individuals held short positions in and rode them all the way down to 0 and never had to cover the short position. It was all pure profit.

Also, as many of these NAZ stocks head under $1, under .50 they are in great danger of being delisted. Some of them will do R/S which wont help any of the shareholders or the company out but will help out a short position a great deal.

According to my account, when I short a stock, I get the cash to spend... after all, I borrowed the stock and sold it to someone going long... Its my money now. Why would I cover if the stock I shorted was at $20 and is now .50 and going to do a R/S or go on the OTCBB... why would I cover that position?
