What? You mean Bush can't make use of "legislation by executive order", as Clinton has?

I'm not particularly worried Nadine.... I think all of this BS about partisanship is going to be reduced as Bush incorporates moderate Democrats into his administration.

The extremists will always be extreme and cast more heat than light. But the mandate will be for both sides to knock it off and accomplish something. Using a filibuster is a risky strategy, unless it is used on something that has the support of the American people.

And the Senator who fouls up the senate by over-using his right to filibuster, will quickly find his access to pork-barrel money for his/her special projects swiftly cut off.

Isn't it amazing how many checks and balances exist in our system?
