Well I got short the QQQ ahead of the news Friday, and went long MSFT in after hrs. Looks like I cover QQQ and go long on the open; depending on the size of the Gap, but I doubt I hold either one very long. ---------- Spam is working hard to help his Borker/Dealer friends out. While CNBC and the pundits are all shooting from the Hip on a Rate cut, they are missing the injections of Fed money into the market that started about Nov 15th. That alone can create a rally.. it's like the shit he pulled going into 2001.. hiking rates on one hand but injecting money with the other. The injections always seem to effect us short term a lot more than Rate changes. --------------- If he cuts rates and stops the injections those who get carried away and buy the rate cut will get killed. --------- Watch this like a Hawk. search.news.yahoo.com Jim
