So far the US S.Ct. has not chided the Fl.S.Ct. for that. Every feeble attempt of Bush to have a federal law stop the recounts have been rejected by the 11th Cir and the S.Ct.
Scalia was clear in his opinion granting cert. The purpose of stopping the counts was to prevent Bush from losing the Presidency. It was a disgusting display of partisanship and has left a permanent scar on the face of the Court.
