"Tom, my guess is that the disputed ballots will be "lost", destroyed, or placed under lock & key so that the legitimacy of the GWB win can not be further contested. The disputed ballots are currently on their way to Washington."

-----------------------------------------------------------

Florida has one of the broadest "Sunshine Laws" in the country and the Miami Herald has already announced they intend to hand count the ballots when this is over.

My feeling is that GWB, having lost the popular vote and serving under a questionable electoral majority, will not have any mandate to govern.

Then if the grand juries already meeting in Miami discover what happened to the ballot boxes that went missing for hours in some Florida counties and what happened to Miami Dade ballot box 501 which was found the day after the election in a Miami hotel room, some high placed Florida republicans may be indicted.

All in all, it will be years before the GOP recovers from this mess.
