Re: Sun Microsystems Falls on Fears It's Losing Ground to Rivals As Microsoft inc. and the Linux coalition fight it out for the software market, and Intel and AMD fight it out for the hardware market, the one that gets killed in the crossfire could be Solaris on SPARC aka SUN. I see the probable outcome as AMD moving into some of Intel's markets, Intel moving into all of SUN's markets, and SUN with nowhere to go. AMD has a good opportunity for growth, Intel has a fair opportunity for growth, and SUN has nowhere to go. Dan
