LOL

I have a friend that is visiting from Austria, he has found this whole election deal quite confusing and asked me to explain.

I told him that back east and in CA democrats are liberal but in the midwest and the south democrats can be very conservative, republicans on the other hand are usually conservative all over. That of course doesn't apply to politicians, democratic politicians are usually socialist unless they were conservative to begin with and republican politicians generally vote for the money unless they were honest to begin with.

Now I don't know why this makes sense to me but my Austrian friend is still confused.

I guess that's why our Founding Fathers created the Electoral College. <g>
