sorry Jill, i respectfully disagree i have not looked at The Nation since "extremism in the pursuit of justice is no vice" was popular. i don't much care for pretty left and pretty right magazines - i am much more impressed with alternative thinking (like further exploring the solution to damage to the ozone layer by fertilizing the oceans) to the extent that there is a daley machine here people respect it and none call it corrupt - his adversaries like him - i am sure he won close to 80% of the votes the last time he ran and i am sure the polls concurred - there is no stench nor taint to his administration i suspect you and i disagree on most things so be it
