Sounds like you are a city person. Not being unkind lawdog, but just what is an easier way to kill a deer? In my part of Michigan, the theory is the population is too great for high powered rifle hunting since the bullet travels so far. Shotgun slugs and buckshot will get the job done. The range of the shot just has to be closer.
