Lots of takeover bid talk on SH about BKP.
I have no idea how accurate it is but it seems to be the talk of the oiltown, Calgary.
Talisman, AEC and Chevron are the leading rumours but to my mind it's unlikely there will be a move before production figures for BKP#2 are released.
Then it may become open season on BKP, PYR and others.

It'll be a tough go for the smaller shareholders, who have held for some time, because they have neither the voting power or coordination to apply any real leverage compared with the mutual fund managers.

Multiples to cashflow and earnings for mid/small cap O&Gs in Canada, are ludicrously low right now and the earlier some biggie moves in, the bigger the bargain they'll get.
BKP and others in ELH are no different. In fact it appears that the previous blowout of Bellevue is still holding down the share price of BKP, when the indications are that this is a very large gas find, with impeccable timing to a maximum market price.
