Regarding weather fronts I drove from Las Vegas to Detroit via I-70,I-77 and I-80 over the last 48 hours. Weather reports all along the way were for bitter cold and winds ranging from 30-62 MPH from the North by Monday (Tuesday for a few areas). Folks are taking the warnings seriously. There was also snow in the Rockies and across eastern Iowa last night. I saw a LOT of accidents including a jackknifed gas tanker that had literally plowed through a freight truck completly destroying the trailer. Slowed down when I saw a full size car lying on it's side in the median. Salt trucks were everywhere. Can't even begin to say how glad I am to be home safe.
