One would have to be extremely naive to think that this whole Florida drama ... ending with a 5-4 vote on the USSC ... wasn't scripted as far back as this past summer.

I think the phone call that Dubya received said this: "Don't worry about Florida. We've got a game plan that might win if the vote is close. And remember, George: Your brother is governor, your campaign manager is secretary of state down there and your father and Ronny Reagan nominated most of those who sit on the Supreme Court."

To think that discussions like this did NOT occur is indeed most naive.

Regarding my powers to look into the future: At times the most fantastic is what indeed happens. Sometimes, just ask yourself "what ain't never gonna happen?" then sit back and watch it happen.
