energyplay, In the last week someone offered me a gas pipeline map in exchange for my transmission line maps of the western US. If I remember whom, I'll pick up a few copies for folks on the Thread...I'm meeting a couple of gas traders and electric aggregators for lunch tomorrow- maybe they can help us on the Wyoming issue....

California does have multiple serious problems, social and economic, now in attracting industry. In comparison we are "sitting pretty" down here in Texas, thanks to the inspired leadership of a very competent Governor.

In fact when analyzing industry, tech/telcom industries located in Texas are going to have a distinct cost advantage over Silicon Valley-based tech companies.

I think of Dell, Compaq, Nortel for openers who have major manufacturing facilities located in Texas.....
