No, it's not Dan Q...but I certainly thought that particular flap was a bunch of overblown bashing of Quayle. When I found that a dictionary DOES spell it that way, after many reports claimed none such existed, I felt a little bit more right. This interested me because from the start I'd always thought I had a memory of seeing it spelled that way on raw potato bags my mother bought in Ohio when I was a kid, but I'd assumed I was wrong 'til I read the WSJ article- after that I was merely unsure. It was only four years ago when I saw the OLD clip from the POTATOE Chip co. in Mi, and since then, I'm pretty sure my OHIO memory was right.

I'm just being fair, thanks.
