Christopher, IMO you can thank Jim Baker for "politicizing" the FL SC. It was he who said their decision was "unacceptable" and spurred the legislature to begin making noise about a new set of electors. It is only the Republicans who have leveled charges of the court "making new law." Gore has had numerous losses but not once have they made that charge. Not even against Sanders Saul, who BTW has had 179 cases reversed on appeal.
