Hi Mark,

I was rooting around one of those links TC supplied and see a list of beta drivers. What version is your driver?

This one has a lot of FAQ that were interesting. Nothing on your issue jumped out.

I saw where you were changing the refreshrate.

Refreshrates, framerates and Vsync explained
If you have set your refreshrate to 60Hz and Vsync is enabled, your card will never go higher than 60fps, because it will wait for a new Vsync signal before displaying a new frame. If it's set at 120, it will be able to display 120fps if your processor can handle it. You may not hit 120fps in benchmarks, but you'll get the peaks around 80-100 that 60Hz won't allow.

Static interference
Make sure that all speakers and other peripherals around your computer are properly shielded. For instance, the "Nightingale surround-sound card" from Zoltrix has been reported to cause "some funky black lines showing up on the left-quarter of the screen". Other equipment, like mobile phones for example, can also cause strange image problems.

Sounds like you are still pleased with Win 2000 except for the one monitor driver issue? <G>
