1) If was more luck than skill/vision that accounted for the early success; 2) There does not seem to be a real plan for turning things around.

It was an excellent article, showing that Wetherell had some early home runs that made him and the market think that he was a genius. With the market winds at his back, everything he did seemed to back up that conclusion. Until, of course, the market finally came to its senses and recognized the lack of clothes on the emperor. Reminds me of the real estate market in the 80's when every Tom, Dick, Harry, Charlie, you-name-it was a real estate magnate until the fit hit the shan. Wetherell was an excellent promoter who knew how to take advantage of a market bubble.
