Then the Dems used every ruse to keep the military from voting and then when they did vote, from having their votes counted. The networks called FL a win for AlGore before the polls closed in the GOP panhandle, costing Bush tens of thousands of votes according to Dem pollster Pat Caddell. Still, with all that, Caddell adds that Bush easily won FL if all legal votes were counted, i.e., under the FL standard that existed prior to this election, a standard where "dimples" were never considered to be votes.
