Here is the post many of you have been waiting a long time to read. . . . I am thinking that Metricom is today what LPTHA was this same time last year. Ricochet broadband wireless service is being rolled out in major markets and is already available in more cities than I thought would have been possible by this time. Broadband wireless service will make everything else look like 8-Track tapes. . . .or for those of you who were born after 1965 . . . . cassette tapes . . . or VHS tapes for that matter. The moment that Ricochet service is available in the Nashville area, yours truly will be there with service. I think this stock has the institutional support necessary to make it a high flier. What it lacks is a cult following. The product is right. And I have difficulty finding sufficient competition with products anywhere beyond beta stage. And as we have learned many times, the first company to market with such new technology tends to become the market leader. For those addicted to the optical sector. . . my favorite sleeper pick is OCPI. Rande Is
