Juli,

<<Bush is clearly seen as being the most fiscally irresponsible with his call for huge tax cuts.>>

While you're correct that tax cuts provide fiscal stimulus, These will be offset with drastic cuts in wasteful government spending, yielding a net mild reduction in fiscal stimulus to the economy, because citizens are more likely to save excess discretionary income that spend it irresponsibly. (Although they may well gamble some of it away on pricey nasdaq stocks) <g>.

<<why does the bond market take a hit every time it appears that Bush has won.>>

This happens because the equity markets explode upwards each time it appears Bush has won, reducing the desire for a "flight to safety" trade in the bond markets, and drawing capital from the bond markets to garner the more attractive returns the equity market will deliver under Bush.

You don't think those earning between $15,000 & $50,000 should be allowed to keep more of their incomes? What are you, a tycoon? <g>
