I think this ruling was more political. The government of Korea saying to QCOM that you give us some royalty now so we can force one of the operators to go with CDMA2000 on December 15th. Korea is "the country" that has made QCOM a leader in communication and the first country to test 3G. Don't you think they deserve to get $4M a quarter for their support of CDMA? GGamer
