Scumbria, You seem to have decided that the FL statute requiring certification within one week supersedes all other FL and US law. There was only one law on the books that sets the deadline for FL. The actual turn of events only shows how wise the deadline was and how foolish the FL SC was when they pulled a new deadline out of (you know where). Suppose the US SC rules in favor of Bush. Since FL SC robbed Gore of 12 days of the contest phase, there is no more time to "discern the voter intent". Joe
