Danny, as always I wish you luck, but in a slowing economy retailers get whacked.
>CHICAGO, Dec 11 (Reuters) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc (NYSE: WMT), the world's largest retailer, said on Monday that sales at its discount and warehouse stores in the week ended December 8 came in below company forecasts.

"Sales for both divisions (Wal-Mart stores and Sams Club stores) started strong but dropped steadily to finish below plan for the second week," the company said in a recorded message.

The results mark the secic was sluggish, but the average ticket and merchandise mix remained good.

Shares of Wal-Mart were off $1-11/16 at $52-3/4. Shares have a 52-week low of $41-1/2 and a year-high of $70-1/4.
