As someone who has been on suspension for 48 of the last 50 days due to posts made on the "George Bush" board, I wholeheartedly agree that SI management is not being close to objective in administering the TOU.

I have noted the following, as have others:

(1) Certain posters enjoy a "special status." A good example of this is TLC, who taunts those who oppose him with impunity, and then cackles with glee when his opponent is suspended or (in the case of bigsablepoint) permanently disbarred.

(2) SI management has a definite political agenda. I was once suspended for insults directed at George W. Bush. In fact, SI management sent me an Email telling me that my suspension was due to remarks made about Bush. When I posted SI's Email on the George W. Bush thread, it disappeared in less than five minutes, and during that time frame I was once again on suspension.

I have been suspended so often lately that I am beginning to feel like "Papillon." All of these suspensions are attributable to the Bush thread, I have behaved myself on the stock threads.

Given that on the Bush thread I was called a co##suck##, a mu#######er, and worse, I don't think my posts were all that eggregious.

In the end, there is the question: "What can we do about this?"

The only thing we can really do is to boycott SI and to refrain from posting to the extent possible.
