Windsock, RE: No amount of making fun with dimples or asking questions on issues not specifically mentioned in the standard avoids the fact that the intent standard is the actual choice of the Florida legislature. You may desire more precision than the Rule contains but you can discard the Rule only with contempt for the principle that you set use the Rules existing before the election.

The Bushies want to discard this Rule and declare a victory. They are scared sh*itless that a count of the legal votes will show their guy lost the popular vote and that any "win" is just legal charade. You want to brand any opposition to the Rule adopted by the Florida legislature before the election as "cheating".


Well no, not from my point of view.

The Bush supporters just disagree as to how to interpret a clear indication of intent. And on that matter, unlike a lot of others, I think that they've got a very good point.
