I agree, that is probably what they will do. They cannot develop a standard and they already tried to send it back to Florida for the court to find a justification for the recounts under Florida law as it existed on election day. Their only choice will be to accept the manual recounts and to blame the Florida statute as the reason for the problem. I don't see any other viable options, even if the result is the election that has a cloud over it. Like CaTech said, the more difficult decision was issuing the stay on saturday.
