I have been trying since 2 am this morning to post to SI, just got in on the other server...ack...and oh, what a day!

With regard to the above referenced post to Scotty, I wanted to make a couple of observations to the thread as I felt as though this would be a very appropriate time to share another little tidbit from your and my Disney World adventure last week...
Folks, I am relatively tall, 5'7" and Jeffers must be, what...6' or so, right Jeff? A true man among men...or so I thought...
Well, while we were eating dinner at Disney's Polynesian Resort, right before the hula hooping contest in which he & I participated, Jeffers was scarfing down his umpteenth grilled prawn. I noticed how adeptly he deshelled the little crustaceans, and was intrigued. He had a nice system of taking them off of my plate, and transferring them to his, then quickly removing their exoskeletons, and popping them into his gaping little mouth. So, I told him to hold up his hand, (PUT YOUR HAND UP HERE, JEFFERS!), and he immediately responded to my order, well-trained man that he is. <gggg> Then, I placed my hand up to his, (it was one of those metaphysical moments, the lights dimmed, ethereal music was heard off in the distance), and then I loudly proclaimed that MY HAND WAS THE SAME SIZE AS HIS!! He quickly told me that he was relatively "small boned for a man" and I added that I was relatively large boned for a woman! [This really is a true story, I swear!]
Having pondered this instance in time carefully over the last week, I have been able to draw yet another conclusion from this episode relative to his finger size. ;) Now, given his comment to Scotty about Scotty's height, I am just wondering at this late hour if Jeffer's might not have a little bit of a complex going on here ladies and gentlemen. On the other hand, I hear that Scotty can grip a regulation sized basketball with one hand...
