I think the Bush supporters want only the voting machines to determine voter intent. They seem to be against any human interpretation of the undervotes.

It seems to me that setting specifications for interpretation of voter intent from the ballots, at this point in time, is truly changing the law after the election. Shouldn't the law, that the local election canvas determines the intent of the voter by their own logic, be the law that prevails before and after the election?
