elmatador- No. Not really. The Japanese cars were considered a joke right up until the long gas lines in the early 70's. Before that it was pure, 100% head to head, good old American competition(except for the brief Chrylser period). Albeit, the Japanese have now made our cars better, but they were affordable, 20 manhour cars, pre-Japan compacts.

Wireless Eurovendors are already forcing US into major change. ATT Wireless committing to GSM with NTT DoCoMo kicking in $10 billion to help. Who says telco spending is dying? -MikeM(From Florida)
