Either way the Democratic Party wins ... if the ballots are counted at a later date ... or if the uncounted ballots somehow "disappear" after Bush is sworn in on Jan. 20. Actually, a latter-case scenario probably would help Dems at the polls more in two years, because such a cover-up would indeed, as you speculate, lead to major voter indignation.

Bush already has been politically gelded. He will never be seen as the legitimate president by more than half of the American people regardless of what he does or how well he does his job.

"The fix" was in from the get-go. Repubs will reap what they sow.
