This is not voodoo democrat mindreading or divining intent. when you look at thousands of ballots with indications of voter intent, they become easier to read than you will ever imagine or admit. And nobody is asking that scratches be counted (even if Texas law might allow it). The process of conducting these counts on Saturday morning was very orderly and efficient, and the antithesis of the "chaos" that the GOP would have us believe it is. The C-SPAN coverage of that activity put the lie to GOP rantings about how chaotic and unfair it all was (or would be) and calls into question why they have been so worked up about it in the first place (oh yeah, stop the process while you still hold a slim lead). Election officials (even GOP election officials, with the possible exception of Katherine "Imelda" Harris) view this very differently than the GOP partisans do -- which is that this is not that controversial or difficult, and can easily be concluded quickly and fairly. Business as usual. Too bad the GOP preferred instead to make it out to be per se corrupt before it even started.
