and here is my original message .....

from my limited knowledge I seem to recall that what you will need is a measuring device that is called something akin to a
Fluxometer
or a Fluxgate Magnetometer....

it will operate similar to a voltmeter to show slight fields of potential electrical disruption....

I don't have one of them, and haven't used one, but it is very much like a radiation leakage detector used on microwave ovens, only for magnetized fields.....

the one that measures inside a closed loop of wire, or a coil, ... or at least the one that I have is, an AMP-Probe ... or a smaller unit is the AMP-probe jr ....
it shows the current "draw" in amps on electric driven devices, such as a/c, compressors, heat coils, etc ...
