Don't disagree that AMD's missing is BAD NEWS...All I'm saying is that flat revenues and $0.50 isn't $17 bad news...Wild, wild market overexagerration, imho...AMD lost over $1.00 in Q3 last year and traded at $17 and was Athy was just a glint in AMD's eye at the time...Perhaps what you are suggesting is that in Q1 AMD is looking at posting a $1.00 eps loss once again, and Athy is about to be relegated to inferior architecture status by P4??? in which case I disagree...AMD's rate of relative progression on a product line basis is likely to accelerate in Y2001 is what I'm saying...The general market will do what it has always done and be unpredictable once again, hopefully in a more positive vein than some are projecting...
