warpfactor, Service companies and drillers were generally strong today... From Midland down south to Rankin, if you go along that route, there are now no less than 20 drilling rigs active (Mainly CMS Energy, who is on a gas finding tear right now)....Usually you would see 3 or 4.

Big Dog is right- "Boom 2000" has now kicked into gear on the front line of the industry. That has to be beneficial for service/drilling companies.

In fact, for e.g., this week UTI took its last stacked rig out of its yard- It had been stacked for 12 years- and put her to work. Boom 2000 is now showing up at ground level....
